One-on-one guidance for developing your mediumship at any level.

Whether you're just starting and don't know if what you're receiving is real, or you're experienced but hitting walls you can't get past, this session is for troubleshooting what's keeping you stuck.

We'll work on strengthening your connection with spirit, refining your technique, and building confidence in what you receive. If trauma or nervous system responses are interfering with your practice, we address that too. Your blocks aren't separate from your abilities. We work with both.

You'll leave with actionable tools and a clear path forward for your development.

Trauma & Mediumship Workshop

Sacred Scars is a 6-hour trauma-informed mediumship workshop built for mediums who are doing this work without a framework for the darkest parts of it.

Me and my co-facilitator Justin built this because this conversation wasn't happening anywhere else. Between a domestic abuse survivor, a recovering addict, and a three-tour combat veteran who both came out the other side talking to dead people, we have lived what we teach.

We cover three pillars: trauma in the medium, trauma in the spirit, and trauma in the sitter. What's actually happening in your nervous system when you channel. How to work with spirits who died traumatically without it wrecking you. How to hold space for a dysregulated sitter without losing yourself in the process. And how to do all of it while keeping your own shit together.

Your trauma is not in the way of this work. It never was.

Meet Your Medium

I'm Marissa, a professional medium based in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

I've been practicing mediumship professionally for 2 years, with abilities active for about a decade. That time taught me what actually works versus what sounds good in theory.

I don't treat your trauma like it's blocking your abilities. Most mediums will tell you that you need to heal first, clear your energy, raise your vibration, all that shit. I don't believe that. Your trauma and your mediumship are connected. We work with both, not around one to get to the other.

I teach real technique, not mystical theory. You're not here to collect concepts or feel spiritual. You're here to build actual skills and trust what you're receiving.

I don't perform. I don't do theatrics. I connect with spirit and deliver evidence. If you're developing your abilities, I'll teach you how to do the same.

I run The Extra Collective, a mediumship community for people serious about their practice. I offer private readings and one-on-one mentorship. And I'm honest about what this work requires.
